Aldina has been a child advocate for over 25 years, with the last 16 years in the area of pediatrics. She  has worked at the National, District, and State levels of the AAP, leading efforts related to mental health, foster care, ACEs prevention, and human trafficking prevention. Aldina currently serve as Senior Program Director for the NJAAP, where she writes, develops and manages grant programs related to improving child health and well-being. She serves as a member of the following committees and boards: NJ Commission on Human Trafficking; New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking (NJCAHT) Board of Trustees, Healthcare Committee, and Operating Council; Prevention Committee (of the NJ Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect); NJ Child Assault Prevention Advisory Board. Aldina holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, focusing on administration, policy, and planning for children and families.
