COVID-19 is now a qualifying reason for NJ Paid Family & Medical Leave. A worker may be eligible for Temporary Disability benefits if they are at high risk for COVID-19 due to underlying health conditions. And, an individual could qualify for Family Leave benefits if they are caring for a loved one with COVID-19. Also, expanded NJ Paid Family & Medical Leave benefits are here. NJ Temporary Disability and Family Leave Insurance now provide up to 85% of average weekly wages, up to a max of $881 a week, and Family Leave now provides up to 12 consecutive weeks of benefits.
