Join NJAAP at the 2022 Virtual Annual Conference & Exhibition – Restock Your Pediatric Toolbox on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
This conference is uniquely designed for healthcare professionals who have an interest in pediatric healthcare and want to stay abreast of the latest advances in the care of children from infancy through adolescence. The sessions provide insight into the latest evidence in pediatric care and its application in the practice setting. Participants will gain a renewed sense of enthusiasm for practice as a result of sharing the successes of others in pediatric care in New Jersey.
This conference will also be available on-demand until September 30, 2022.

Interested in the NJ Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative?
We invite you to join NJPPC clinical leadership at one of our three informational sessions during our Annual Conference! Learn more about how you can implement mental/behavioral health screening, and access consultative support from regional Hub-based Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists for diagnostic clarification and treatment management, as well as referral resources for your families. You can join any three of the sessions during your exhibitor breaks. Click to join the session of your choice on your Session Selection List Dropdown day of the event or from the home page.
Interested in the Trauma-Informed ACEs Screening & Intervention Evaluation Project ECHO (TASIE Project)?
Please join the Trauma-Informed ACEs Screening & Intervention Evaluation Project ECHO (TASIE Project) Team as we chat about the project, ACEs Screening, and applying for Cohort 2. This casual session is a safe space to ask questions, network, and discuss how your practice is treating toxic stress in children.
The TASIE Project is created in partnership with Safe & Sound’s Center for Youth Wellness and the New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics through a grant received from the Health Resources and Services Administration. The aim is to develop a scalable model to help pediatric healthcare teams to integrate ACEs screening, trauma-informed, and strengths-based interventions into a pediatric primary care setting. The CYW and NJAAP team will train and provide coaching to practice sites to implement an ACEs screening and intervention pilot using the Pediatric ACEs and Life Events Screener (PEARLS) tool and the Seven Domains of Wellness. In addition, the practice sites will participate in a 9-month Quality Improvement Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes).
Selected practices will be provided with a $15,000 stipend as well as CME/MOC Part 2 and 4 Points. The RFP Application for Cohort 2 is available now. Applications are due on July 29, 2022. Interested pediatric practices should visit the “TASIE Project” website (www.njaap.org/tasie) for the RFP application, eligibility requirements, important dates, and informational webinars. Cohort 2 will run from September 2022 through May 2023.
Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) reviewed the project and found that it does not meet the definition of research involving human subjects as defined by DHHS and FDA regulations. Therefore, it did not require review and approval by the HMH Institutional Review Board.
