About Us

The Family Resource Network (FRN) is dedicated to offering individuals and their families with continuing needs the greatest opportunities, resources and services to support a full and happy life. The Family Resource Network is a comprehensive family-focused umbrella of organizations designed to meet the growing need for community-based programs and services to individuals and families with a variety of disabilities and chronic conditions through our three affiliate organizations (below). The Family Resource Network is a statewide organization with offices located in East Windsor New Jersey. FRN serves approximately 30,000 individuals annually.

Our Network Includes:

  • Epilepsy Services of New Jersey (ESNJ), is a state-wide, non-profit charitable agency dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for people affected by epilepsy and their loved ones.
  • Caregivers of New Jersey’s (CNJ) is proud to offer a centralized location for answers and information on all caregiving concerns.
  • Autism Family Services of New Jersey (AFSNJ) was created in order to better serve individuals and families affected by autism.

Our Mission

Epilepsy Services of New Jersey, an affiliate of The Family Resource Network, is a state-wide, non-profit charitable agency dedicated to helping to improve the quality of life for people affected by epilepsy and their loved ones. The Epilepsy Services of New Jersey will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research. We provide comprehensive support, personalized services and advocacy for individuals and their families in order to maximize their participation in society.

The following principles govern all program activities of ESNJ:

  • The person shall participate to the fullest extent possible in their own care. The family and community are vital resources for the individual.
  • Volunteer leadership and participation of affected people is essential to the success of the organization.0
  • Duplication of effort shall be avoided as resources and services are developed for the persons we serve.
  • Services and activities shall address the full spectrum of our clients special needs.
  • Program activities shall meet defined program standards set by the National Epilepsy Services and others relevant accrediting bodies.

Join us at the Stone Pony for our 10th Annual Paint the Pony Purple! Finally, come celebrate our 50th Anniversary at the Impact Awards. Registration is open for all events.
