The Growing Healthy Minds Project ECHO, launching in November 2023, brings together school physicians, school nurses, school counselors, school administrators, educators, and other school-based mental health professionals from across the state to improve mental health support for middle and high school students. Participants will collaborate to achieve the goal of improving understanding of how to promote holistic mental/behavioral wellbeing and respond as student mental health concerns arise.

Participation offers the opportunity to:

  • Join a statewide network of peers who will share resources and lessons learned
  • Participate in monthly ECHO sessions for didactic and case-based learning and mentorship
  • Benefit from hands-on support and guidance from expert Hub Faculty
  • The first 150 registrants to share their full mailing address will receive a mailing of hard copy resources. All registrants will receive access to our virtual library of student mental health information, resources and tools!

Monthly sessions are held on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. All sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom. There is no cost to participate in this series. Participation in all sessions is not required. Participants may join individual sessions based on availability.

The Growing Health Minds Project ECHO® is conducted with these partnerships:

This Project ECHO® learning collaborative is made possible through a grant from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families.

“If we seize this moment, step up for our children and their families
in their moment of need, and lead with inclusion, kindness, and respect,
we can lay the foundation for a healthier, more resilient, and more fulfilled nation.”

Share a Case Presentation for Discussion!

At the core of our Growing Healthy Minds Project ECHO series is an “all teach, all learn” approach. To facilitate application of concepts discussed into practice, we welcome participants to share de-identified cases for discussion with the group.

If you are interested in sharing a case for discussion related to one of the session topics noted below under ‘Upcoming Topics,’
please complete our Case Presentation Form and our team will be in touch.

Please note that to maintain anonymity of districts, staff, and students, our hub faculty will present cases to the group for discussion.
No identifiable information will be shared.
