The Practice Management Committee is a resource and advocacy group for pediatric healthcare providers and practice managers interested or involved with the management or administration of pediatric practices. Our goal is to ensure that pediatric health care providers have equitable payment for services provided and improve the knowledge and effectiveness of pediatric practice management.

The Pediatric Council is made up of pediatric healthcare providers that are members of the NJAAP, medical directors of health insurance companies in NJ, members of various state departments, including Medicaid, and the NJ Department of Health. The purpose of the Pediatric Council is to build effective relationships with health insurance companies and create a platform to communicate relevant practice management issues in a timely manner.

The NJAAP Pediatric Council was the second one established in the country and was highly regarded for its work with the insurance industry. Dr. Puthenmadam Radhakrishnan and Dr. Naveen Mehrotra are the Co-chairs and have been involved both here in NJ and with National AAP.
