Hello!
The New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics works hard to support and bring educational opportunities to the pediatric medical community. We are so grateful for the role you’ve played in pushing our mission forward.
We support the doctors who care for New Jersey’s kids.
Through live and virtual events, webinars, and a quarterly journal, we’re helping pediatricians stay current on the latest in pediatrics. And that helps them deliver the best care to New Jersey’s children.
In the last year alone NJAAP has continued our mission to educate about vaccine hesitancy and advocate for resources for youth mental health. Ever since 1950, The New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics advocates on state-level issues related to children’s health and well-being and the practice of pediatrics. Our work is strictly nonpartisan, and addresses New Jersey bills and budget items related to public health and the viability of pediatric practices.
Through our legislative efforts, we advocate in Trenton on behalf of kids and the physicians who care for them.
Thanks to a law we helped implement, all newborns in New Jersey are required to be tested with pulse oximetry.
It has helped identify heart conditions and saved hundreds of babies’ lives.
The New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics is one of the most active chapters of the AAP. Our programs include: Autism Support, Climate Change Education, The New Jersey Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative, Prevent Suicide New Jersey, Growing Healthy Minds, New Jersey Integrated Care for Kids, NJ SBIRT (New Jersey Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) Program, STI Screening, Positive Parenting, Screening for Adverse Childhood Experiences, Nutrition Guidance, Violence Prevention, Vaccine Preventable Disease, Chronic Care Management, and much, much more!
What if we all came together to support New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics?
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving on the first Tuesday on December (December 3) – and New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics is participating. We’re humbly asking for your support. We have a goal of $5,000. Will you help us?
